We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as a Stock Surveyor. Supporting the delivery of a rolling stock condition programme.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role comes with Agile Working and flexible working can be considered.
Working Location: Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Thetford, Cambridge, Woodbridge, Newmarket and surround areas.
This is a field-based role and will require travel to our customers and properties across East Anglia, a company vehicle will be provided.
As a Stock Surveyor, you will support the delivery of a rolling stock condition survey programme. Undertaking stock condition surveys including collecting property data, assessing structure integrity and estimating life cycles of major components where appropriate during survey visits.
Your main responsibilities are to undertake Energy Performance Assessments and produce EPCs. To collect data and input into the asset database. Provide advice to other Flagship employees and external stakeholders as required to support related projects and surveying matters. Whilst ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance in delivering the service (includes but not exclusive to HHSRS, Energy Performance of Building Regs 2012, Housing Act 2004, Safeguarding, Decent Homes standard).
Applications are welcomed for the role of Stock Surveyor from those with previous experience in identifying technical defects in domestic property, EPC Surveying, Stock Condition Surveying, Sector legislation and regulation.
You’ll need to have an excellent understanding of construction. To be passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills. With good written and verbal skills.
With Five GCSEs grades A-C (or equivalent) and a full valid driving licence. A Domestic Energy Assessor qualification would be desirable.
