Our In-House Legal Team

Originally formed in 2015, we have have grown to specialise in a number of areas of legal practice to support the delivery of our goal: to create sustainable communities and enable people to thrive.

  • Commercial property:

    • Supporting the Development Team with land acquisitions, s106 purchases, planning and more
    • Supporting the Assets Team with wayleaves, deeds of easement and commercial leases.​​​​​​​

  • Residential Property

    • Supporting the business with a range of inquiries relating to our homes and undertaking Asset Renewal, staircasing and Right to Buy sales.

  • New Homes Sale

    • Working with the Sales Team and external partners to sell homes for outright sale and new shared ownership properties.​​​​​​​

  • Litigation

    • Supporting the business with complex litigation cases and dealing with disrepair, debt recovery and any other litigation brought against the business

  • Commercial and Contracts

    • Supporting all areas of the business to review and enter into commercially responsible contracts and avoid undue risk.

  • Charging and Securitisation

    • Supporting the business to obtain large-scale loans often secured against our homes.

  • Leasehold Management

    • Supporting our leaseholders and aiding the business to uphold high standards where Flagship is the leaseholder.
