We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as a Compliance Manager (Asbestos). This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The role comes with Agile Working. This is a field-based role and will require travel to our customers and properties across East Anglia.
A company vehicle will be provided.
Role and Responsibilities
As our Compliance Manager (Asbestos), you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers and tenants safe by ensuring we meet all statutory and regulatory requirements around Asbestos Safety Management. You’ll take ownership of our day‑to‑day asbestos compliance activity, overseeing operational performance, managing budgets, and ensuring our contracts for surveying and removal services deliver real value. Working closely with the Head of Landlord Compliance, colleagues across Asset Management, our contractors, and our residents, you’ll help us deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll also drive continuous improvement by reviewing systems, processes, and performance to support our commitment to creating safe, well‑maintained homes.
What we are looking for:
Experience in budget management, contract management, and project oversight within a related field
Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements and health & safety legislation
Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively
Ability to work at pace, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
Holds P402, P404, or P405 asbestos qualifications
Full, valid UK driving licence
