As a Neighbourhood Services Technician (Voids), you’ll play a vital role in helping deliver safe, clean, and ready-to-live-in homes.
Your primary responsibility will be to prepare vacant properties for remedial works and re-letting, ensuring they meet the required standards for new customers. This includes property clearance, cleaning, and supporting works that enable properties to be quickly and efficiently returned to use.
You’ll be working both independently and as part of a wider team to ensure properties and communal areas are maintained to a high standard, contributing to safe and thriving neighbourhoods.
Location: East Anglia - Our Neighbourhood Services Technician team operate across East Anglia. We're looking for candidates based in multiple locations including - Kings Lynn, Cromer, Lowestoft, Ipswich, Thetford, Colchester, Braintree. Please note that all technicians will be required to cover all areas within the Flagship portfolio.
Hours: Full Time - 37 hpw - Monday to Thursday 08:30-16:30, Friday 08:30-16:00
Contract: Permanent + Company Van
What You'll Be Doing
Prepare void (vacant) properties for remedial works and re-letting
Carry out property and garden clearance of empty homes and communal areas
Complete deep cleaning and specialist cleaning tasks where required
Undertake minor maintenance tasks to support property readiness
Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within agreed timescales
Maintain high standards to ensure homes are clean, safe, and ready for occupation
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
What You'll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in property clearance, cleaning, or a similar practical role
Strong understanding of health and safety on-site
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Experience working in a customer-facing environment
Basic IT skills (e.g., Outlook, Teams)
Full UK driving licence
Personal Attributes
Proactive and self-motivated
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Team player with the ability to build strong working relationships
