We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as a Lettings Coordinator. This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This is a Secondment opportunity until Auguust 2026, for internal applicants and a Fixed Term Contract Fixed Term Contract until that date, for external applicants.
This role is working from our Riduna Park office, in Melton, near Woodbridge. The role comes with Agile Working.
As a Lettings Coordinator, you will work as part of a team to ensure our tenants have an excellent experience when moving in and out of our homes, this will help our tenants to sustain their tenancies and minimise our void loss.
You’ll work as the initial point of contact for queries via the telephone and email, answering all general enquiries and providing full administration support across the team. You will help customers to register for social housing, referring more complex enquiries to the specialist housing teams.
Providing support to the Housing Officers, creating tenancy agreements and assignment paperwork. Occasionally you’ll assist with the shortlisting process for our homes, and may attend property viewings and take rent payments for new tenancies. Also supporting our customers with welfare and benefit advice and signposting them to external support agencies. Whilst completing reference requests and if necessary, completing property inspections.
Applications are welcomed for the role of Lettings Coordinator from those with previous experience in a customer focused environment preferably within a housing environment but this is not essential.
You’ll have experience with administration and related activities. As well as the ability to work as part of a team but able to manage and prioritise your own workload. With a solution focused with a can-do approach and you’ll need to have the ability to remain calm during difficult conversations.
