We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our frontline housing services team. This is a pivotal role where you’ll oversee a stream of work within the housing team, delivering excellent service that exceeds customer expectations. Within this role, there is an expected level of travel to our customers and partners across our geographic and to our offices in Norwich, Dereham, Bury St Edmunds and Melton.
The role will involve:
• Leading a large team and managing day-to-day housing operations.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Driving performance through data analysis, benchmarking, and customer feedback.
• Championing continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
• Shaping strategic direction alongside the Head of Housing.
• Designing and delivering place-based approaches tailored to community needs.
• Leading cultural change initiatives that promote trust, empowerment, and collaboration.
• Coaching and mentoring managers to foster a high-performing, inclusive environment.
•Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience in housing operations management or a similar leadership role in housing.
• Strong knowledge of lettings, rent collection, tenancy management, and complex casework.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement.
• Commitment to cultural transformation and place-based working.
• CIH Level 4 qualification or willingness to complete it.
