We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as the Head of Landlord Compliance. This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role comes with Agile Working.
The successful candidate can be based in any Flagship Housing office, whichever is closest to their home address. We have offices in the following locations: Norwich, Melton / Woodbridge, East Dereham & Bury St. Edmunds.
As the Head of Landlord Compliance, you will be responsible for all Landlord Health and Safety (H&S) matters, ensuring that our homes and communal areas remain safe for our tenants, contractors and the public by fully complying with all legislation surrounding Landlord H&S, including duties under the Building Safety Act.
You’ll manage the overall performance of the team to deliver outstanding customer service, wisely manage expenditures and relentlessly improve performance across all aspects of operations. This comprehensive approach ensures both the safety and satisfaction of all stakeholders involved.
Liaising with safety enforcement agencies and fire authorities to ensure compliance and best practices. You will oversee component servicing and monitoring, ensuring compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM), and using performance metrics to improve operations. Also advising the Board and maintain high customer service standards, while staying updated on regulatory changes.
Applications are welcomed for the role of Head of Landlord Compliance from those extensive with previous experience in providing high-quality Landlord compliance services and a deep understanding of the affordable housing sector.
You will need to be knowledgeable about the Housing Health & Safety Rating System and other key regulations related to Landlord compliance and safety.
Whilst being skilled in strategy development and can craft detailed board reports to support decision-making with clear data and analysis. You’ll also need to be an experienced leader, promoting a culture of growth and high performance within your department.
Educated to degree standard or equivalent and holding an asset management or landlord compliance qualification or have significant relevant experience. You will also require a full valid UK driving licence.
