About the Multi-Trade Roofer Role

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of high quality multi skilled tasks and activities supporting the domestic electrical installations of solar PV, battery storage systems and high heat retention storage heaters ensuring achievement of service excellence and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities – Roofing Repairs & Maintenance

• Carry out a range of roofing services, including repairs, maintenance, and new roof installations, in line with safety standards and best practices.
• Identify and fix leaks, replace tiles or slates, and attend to roof structures and guttering as required.
• Work on pitched, flat, and other types of roof using appropriate materials and tools.

• Support the wider team by carrying out basic joinery, plastering, tiling, or decorating tasks as needed, helping to maintain properties in excellent condition.
• Assist with general repairs within and around our homes, as well as works on communal areas.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to reported maintenance issues.

Health & Safety – Roof Work & Site Standards

• Follow all health and safety policies, taking personal responsibility to ensure workplaces, residents, and yourself are safe at all times.
• Carry out risk assessments and use appropriate PPE for all tasks.

Multi-Trade Roofer Job Requirements

• Proven experience in roofing – ideally within social housing, property maintenance, or a similar environment.
• Competent in a range of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques for pitched and flat roofs.
• Basic skills in related trades such as joinery, plastering, tiling, or decorating would be advantageous.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Committed to excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Awareness of health and safety best practice in roofing and construction.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
