We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to join the team as a Building Maintenance Labourer, working in our Responsive Team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.

You will work 40 hours per week, from 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, and until 2:30 pm on Friday, with the flexibility to work additional paid hours when necessary to complete repairs outside of core hours.

Location: NR28 and surrounding areas 

As a Building Maintenance Labourer at Flagship, you will perform a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks on Flagship properties, including clearing empty properties, cleaning, gutter clearances, decorating, and addressing damp, mould, and flood repairs. You will also identify and arrange asbestos removal, work with schedules of rates to assess job content and complete estimates, and support other trades and colleagues to provide an outstanding repairs service for tenants. The role requires flexibility for additional paid hours, strong practical skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled professional with experience in general maintenance tasks and ladder work, ideally within a trade environment. They have strong practical skills, excellent customer service, problem-solving abilities, and are proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams. They are flexible, willing to work additional hours, and participate in the on-call rota, including public holidays. You will hold an NVQ level 2 in a relevant trade and have a full driving licence.
